This project is unique in that it was an event rather than a residence. We designed the Connoisseur’s Lounge for the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival for two years. The first year was inspired by Atlanta - the most forested city in the country as well as its storytellers - the highlight of attending a southern meal. The second year was inspired by the cooks that inspired many of the chefs at the festival - their grandmothers.  The lounge became an ode to the matriarchs of those families - a common thread with which many visitors could connect.
