This project began as a blank slate. We worked to incorporate craftsman inspired details into this new build, but it still did not have nearly the character of the older home this family had left behind. As a result, we mixed antique furnishings with new pieces and layered in art alongside their existing collections to create a layered and cozy feel. Wallpaper, window treatments, and a few small finish details (backsplash, built-ins, etc.) were added to give more architectural weight to the house itself.
